Sony “Castor” Tablet leaked

Sony’s next generation high-end tablet called Castor has been reportedly leaked by the twitter account named evleaks.

The tweet says that the company may soon launch a new MSM8974AB-powered tablet codenamed Caster. With the leaked specifications, the tablet looks like a successor to the Xperia Z tablet.

AMD powered XOLO win Windows tablet unveiled at CES 2014

XOLO, the Smartphone brand handset maker LAVA, on Wednesday unveiled its first AMD powered 10.1 inch tablet named XOLO win in CES 2014 at Las Vegas.

The Lava Company said that tablet will be available in stores across India towards the end of this month. Windows 8 powered tablet XOLO win priced yet not be announced. The tablet is designed especially for youth and college going students.

Sony announces PlayStation Now, a cloud gaming platform

Sony, at CES 2014, announced cloud-based service PlayStation Now to make console-gaming possible without a console.

PlayStation Now is a new cloud gaming platform. With this service, users will be able to play the games from Sony’s game library even if they do not own a PlayStation or any other gaming hardware.

Yahoo acquires Android launcher app Aviate

Yahoo Chief Executive Marissa Mayer announced acquisition of Aviate app Maker Company at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Aviate is the company behind the popular smartphone app that automatically brings up or suggest relevant information or apps to suit a user’s activity. Yahoo acquired the Aviate app to compete Google’s predictive search technology for smartphones.
